At Icarus we use thoroughly tested chemicals that are body shop approved so there is no need to worry about harsh chemicals damaging your vehicle. We use a variety of all-purpose cleaner, enzyme, degreaser, alcohol and simple distilled water depending on the type of mess we're cleaning. 

There is almost always a combination of chemical and agitation to fully lift dirt and contaminants from the surface and deeper if possible.

Everyone loves the sun, except your car. UVA and UVB rays cause fading, cracking, drying and discoloration of most of the surfaces in a vehicle. That's why we use the latest ceramic protectants to form a layer of impenetrable durability. The eramic compound also has extremely hydrophobic properties making cleaning up after a spill a breeze.

Vacuuming can solve most of the obvious issues on the interior of a vehicle, but we take it a few steps further because sand and other small debris gets embedded in carpet fibers. We use a combination of compressed air to force debris to the surface, steam to kill any lingering bacteria and smell, and carpet extraction pull as much soil from the vehicle as possible.

Typically our process will eliminate all odors in the vehicle, even cigarette smoke, but if there is still a lingering odor there are a few options depending on the type of odor is present.

Luxurious leather, you either love it or hate it in a vehicle. Whichever side you're on it's sad to see leather that has been left to dry, crack and fade.

Cleansing the leather of stains and body oils is crucial to restoring the supple surface. After all the contaminants have been removed a leather conditioner or butter is applied like lotion on dry skin. After the seats have dried, protection is added so the sun and body oils don't continue to degrade the leather further.

Steam is an incredibly powerful tool in the auto detailing industry and at Icarus we try not to introduce surfaces to chemicals unless natural steam isn't removing the contamination. Steam is hot enough to kill bacteria naturally, penetrate hardened messes like candy or mud and is forceful enough to push loose debris out of tiny crevices for the ultimate clean.

Air blasting with a special nozzle is extremely helpful to bring locked in debris to the surface so it can be removed or used to efficiently dry very small crevices.

Many people do not know that glass cleaners can have hazardous fumes as well as damaging compounds that destroy window tint. Our glass scrubbing process is second-to-none and is guaranteed not to damage your windows even if you have the self-applied window tint.

First we remove the bulk of the contamination with isopropyl alcohol and distilled water. Second, if required, we use a safe, proven window cleaner to finish the glass to a streak-free shine. Lastly a hydrophobic sealant is applied that helps water bead up and roll away for safety while driving and avoiding those unsightly water spots.

Every vehicle is different and every owner has different needs. Modifications to our packages can be made and each process can be done individually to suit any budget.

A professional hand-wash of the exterior is often overlooked. Most people run through a car wash because it's quick and easy. Your typical car wash slaps your vehicle repeatedly in order to agitate surface dirt away from the vehicle. Not only is this not efficient it's also damaging to your vehicle's paint making your paint look dull and potentially showing visible scratches.

A professional uses a combination of chemicals to gently encapsulate dirt and remove it from the paint without scratching your investment. There is no subtle difference between a carwash and a professional hand-wash.

Tires and wheels can be one of the most unique attributes of a vehicle. Personally we like the old-school 100 spoke wheel with white wall tires of traditional low riders. Brake dust, road grime, tar, mud and other elements of the road can quickly make them look dull.

Using the right chemicals is critical for wheels, especially aftermarket wheels. Typically all visible brake dust and road grime will require more one cleaning cycle leaving the tire and wheel with a wet and shiny showroom finish.

There are many options for paint protection now. The old buff on waxes still exist, but aren't as durable or easy to apply as modern waxes, polymers or ceramics.

We use proven products that are maximally durable for Nebraska's harsh road conditions. Each product we use also enhances the paint to make it really pop, provide a deep, warm shine that is sure to turn heads.

Decontamination is often undervalued by the average vehicle owner, but the difference is drastic after your vehicle has been decontaminated and a clay bar is used to pull iron/dirt/fallout from the crevices of the clear coat.

Often an effective decontamination and clay bar process can give your vehicle the look it had when you pulled it off the lot. It's really incredible.
